vRoam — Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 29, 2026
1. Who we are
vRoam is an iOS app for buying travel eSIM data plans, available on the App Store (bundle id com.adyl.vRoam).
vRoam is operated by AntherSystems, a sole proprietorship of Adil Hamidi, registered at 6 rue Marechal Leclerc, B415, 21000 Dijon, France.
For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at adil.hamidii123@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect and why
We collect only what is needed to run the app:
- Email address — collected when you sign in with Sign in with Apple, used to identify your account and contact you about your orders.
- User identifier — the unique account identifier created at sign-in, used to link your purchases and eSIMs to your account.
- Purchase history — the eSIM data plans you buy, used to show your orders and installed eSIMs in the app.
All of this data is linked to your account and used only for app functionality — to let you sign in, buy a plan, and see your eSIMs. We do not use it for advertising, we do not run analytics SDKs, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
Sign-in
vRoam supports Sign in with Apple only. We never see or store your Apple password, and depending on your choice, Apple may share only a private relay email address with us.
On-device storage
The app keeps a small local record on your device (in Apple's UserDefaults) of which eSIMs you've already installed, so the app can show the right install status. This record stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe). vRoam never sees, collects, or stores your card number or other card details — that data is handled entirely by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD.
4. eSIM delivery
Once you buy a plan, your eSIM is provisioned by our provider, eSIM Access. Your eSIM profile is installed on your device and keeps working there even if you later delete your vRoam account.
5. Where your data is stored
Our backend runs on Supabase, hosted in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, EU) region. Your account data, order history, and eSIM records are stored there, within the EU.
6. Service providers (processors)
We share the minimum data necessary with the following processors to operate the app:
| Processor | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | Sign in with Apple | Email, user identifier |
| Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe) | Payment processing | Purchase/payment details (card data never reaches us) |
| Supabase | Backend hosting & database (EU) | Account, order, and eSIM data |
| eSIM Access | eSIM provisioning | Order details needed to issue your eSIM |
7. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our backend (see below). Stripe and eSIM Access retain their own financial and provider records for as long as required by their own legal and accounting obligations — this is outside our control and is normal for any regulated payment or telecom provider.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → account deletion in the app. This deletes your account and associated personal data from our backend. Notes:
- Stripe and eSIM Access retain financial/provider records as required by law.
- Any eSIM you already installed keeps working on your device — deleting your account does not disable a provisioned eSIM.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
Because we operate in the EU, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
To exercise any of these rights, email adil.hamidii123@gmail.com. We process purchase and account-related data on the legal basis of performance of a contract (so we can sell you a plan and let you use the app), and we process operational data on the basis of legitimate interest in running and securing the service.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
